LEARNING STARTS EARLY

Children 6-weeks to 3 years are provided and nurtured for by caring staff. Establishing positive relationships with caregivers, exploring the classroom and outdoor environments, and establishing self-help skills are important foundations for this group.

Our birth-3 year old classrooms focus on building relationships between the primary caregivers, child, and the family. Infants and toddlers learn best through supportive interactions with their teachers and exploring their environments. Teachers meet the needs of each child to build trust and plan activities to engage children in developmentally appropriate active learning experiences.

Each classroom uses a combination of daily sheets, emails, and weekly newsletters to communicate with families about individual children and the whole classroom. Infant and toddler classroom teachers complete daily activity forms to share information with parents.
